Huawei’s View: State-of-the-Art in 5G RAN Equipment

Wednesday, December 18, 2019, 9:00 am New York / 2:00 pm London

With 5G networks are live around the world, the industry is looking to the next phase of deployment and performance. For equipment vendors, this means the need to innovate in software and hardware is relentless. In this webinar Huawei will present its latest innovations from its commercial 5G RAN portfolio. Among the topics to be discussed are:

Latest C-Band Massive MIMO – these new RU products capable of 400 MHz bandwidth, with 320Wats of output power and automatic beam adjustment, are now available in a hardware package that weighs just 25KG
Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS) — to rapidly increase 5G NR coverage using low-band spectrum. Millisecond switching allows DSS to improve spectrum resource utilization (vs. hard spectrum allocation) and maintain 4G user experience
5G Super Uplink – based on work with Chinese operators, Huawei will present ideas to improve NR uplink capability
5G Site Design – site costs and aesthetics are extremely important. The correct product design enables operators to build sites that are faster to deploy, have a lower physical footprint, consume less power, and are visually discreet.
