Join us for the workshop theme ASEAN Smart cities Project Activation

Date and Time: 19 June 2019 | 9AM – 1PM
Location: Melani 4011, Level 4
Marina Bay Sands

  • Highlight the practical considerations and factors in implementing Smart Cities projects across ASEAN, based on actual engagements with a few cities like Kuching, Jakarta, and other cities in the Philippines and Indonesia.
  • Demonstrate the use of a global dashboard called Project Activator (by US-based Smart Cities Council) where city data and projects are captured and can be leveraged for possible investment opportunities.

Plans by the Sarawak State will also be shared to realise their Digital Economy Strategy 2018-2022 with an Integrated systematic approach. The workshop will also feature innovative solutions to support the development of the infrastructure for Green and Sustainable Smart Cities and for Smart Tourism. Participants will benefit greatly from such insights and opportunities to collaborate regionally for Smart City Living Labs.
