Profile

I am the CEO, co-founder and Chief Research Officer at Diffraction Analysis, a consultancy and research focusing on the advent of next-generation access and its considerable impact on legacy telecom business models, service strategies, public IT policy etc.

Winner of the FTTH Council Europe Individual Award for outstanding contribution to the industry (2013)

Before that I was Director of Access Research at Yankee Group, covering wireline and wireless access with a team of 4 analysts. My personal focus for analysis was Next Generation Access Technologies.

My interest in NGA started before joining Yankee Group in early 2007 when I launched http://www.fiberevolution.com as a side hobby to my day job to discuss news, issues and opinions on the developing fiber to the home market.

Prior to that I was a manager with French telecom consultancy Arcome (now Wavestone) Over the years I worked on numerous projects, both operational and strategic in fixed and mobile, retail and wholesale. As part of Arcome I managed a team of 15 consultants and developed the business of the consumer practice.

Prior to Arcome, I was working for Belgacom France. I first worked as a Market and Competition Analyst then as a product manager on local loop (FTTO) and business voice. In 1999 I was nominated as Market Manager for Voice services with a team of two product managers and one market analyst.

In 1994, I graduated from the Edhec business school in 1994 and immediately joined Group Schneider in Coventry, UK as a market analyst. In the course of the 2 1/2 I spent there, I worked on market reporting automation, data-mining and market analysis.
