Alexander holds an MBA in International Business Management and a Degree (Dipl.-Ing, FH) in Electronic Engineering from University of Applied Science Ravensburg-Weingarten in Germany.

Since the beginning of 2017 he is instrumental with company N@SAT SINGAPORE as General Manager Corporate & Business Development and serves its partner QUANTUMNET to consociate the establishment and commercialization of next generation hybrid, agile and secure telecoms systems across terrestrial and satellite networks.

For DETECON subsidiaries in Dubai and Bangkok he is active as Project Consultant Satellite-/ Satcom-Systems and served in 2017 & 2018 the Satellite Networks Business Group of ST Electronics (Satcom & Sensor Systems) in a global role as Executive Consultant Satcom Systems

Before that, he was employed in Singapore by Satellite Operator SES, taking a leading role in developing SES market presence as General Manager Governments & Institutions Asia-Pacific.

Until 2013 he had been employed by Airbus Defence & Space Singapore office working as Head of Sales Asia-Pacific overlooking ND SatCom business and partner development in India, Southeast Asia and Oceanic Region.

Prior to 2011 he was instrumental for ND SatCom a system integrator for satellite-based communication networks as the President Middle East, in charge of regional business & operations expansion leading the progress of the business facilities in the UAE.

Earlier, until 2002 he held various managing positions at Nortel Networks Germany, implementing International Optical Network Solutions throughout Europe.

From 1997-1998 he was part of the Ad-hoc group on Digital Satellite News Gathering to support the Technical Module of the DVB Project for the standardization of DSNG and other contribution applications by satellite.

His industrial experience started in 1987 with Dornier GmbH (a subsidiary of DaimlerChrysler Aerospace AG) developing and producing aircraft, defence materiel and space systems.
