Director of Broadcast Department
Indonesia Asian Games Organizing Committee (INASGOC)

A sportsman by blood, an athlete by will, a sportscaster by passion, and a dreamer by heart. Dra. Linda Noverita Wahyudi, born 1956, has devoted her life to sports from many perspectives—the athlete, the media, and the event committee.

She started her athlete career while she was studying Mass Communication in University of Indonesia, as she competed in SEA Games 1979, 3 ASEAN Championships, 1 Asia Championship, and 2 World Championships.

Linda then started her sports journalist career by founding Kompas Sports Tabloid “BOLA” in 1984, which she also wrote for. She shifted to Sportcast Production in 1991, joining Indonesia’s first private TV station Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia (RCTI). In 11 years of dedication, Linda came up with live production of 4 Olympics since 1992, 3 Asian Games since 1994, 6 SEA Games since 1991, 3 World Cup Soccer since 1994, 3 Thomas Uber Cup since 1996, and Indonesia Moto GP in 1996. Not only a producer, she was also the Acquisition Manager for RCTI’s Sport Programs.

As a national athlete, in addition to her passion in Journalism & Sportcast, Linda was trusted to be the Head of Media PR in Thomas Uber Cup 2008, the director of Broadcast Asian Beach Games Bali 2008, the director of Broadcast Sea Games Jakarta Palembang 2011, the director of Broadcast Islamic Solidarity Games Jakarta Palembang 2013. Recently, she was again trusted as the director of Broadcast 18th Asian Games Jakarta Palembang 2018.

Now, to achieve more of her dream, Linda is establishing a concept of Indonesia Sports Data Center, a platform for storing all sports digital asset which could be developed to be the embryo of the first Indonesian Athlete Talent Management System, in support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia and the National Sports Committee of Indonesia.
